Spicy Roasted Nuts & Chocolate Almond Oaty Bars 🍫 Are you a savoury or sweet snacker? These are a couple of my healthy go to snacks… These clean granola bars as a healthy alternative, packed with fiber which helps you to keep fuller for longer! 😘😘

Recipe for 12 portions below:
INGREDIENTS
2 cups of rolled oats
ΒΎ cup chopped raw almonds
1/4 cup ground flaxseeds
1ΒΌ tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp sea salt
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
1/4 cup Almond Butter
1/4 cup Coconut Sugar
1/4 cup raw honey or agave nectar
1 tsp vanilla extract
Melted dark chocolate to drizzle
METHOD
1. Preheat oven to 180c fan, place oats and almonds on a baking sheet and bake, stirring once, until lightly browned, about 12 minutes. Transfer to a large bowl, add flaxseeds, cinnamon, salt and nutmeg.
In a small saucepan, combine almond butter, coconut sugar, and honey. Bring to a simmer on medium, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla. Pour mixture over oat mixture and stir until well combined. Let cool for 5 minutes. Scrape into prepared baking dish. Bake until edges are golden brown, about 20 minutes. Let it cool. Drizzle over chocolate & enjoy!!
